I am working on creating a short graphic novel next year however I am still very much an amateur, so I decided to join deviantart to learn from and meet other artists. I found your artwork in the manga section of the site while I was browsing and your work grabbed my eye and compelled me to comment on it for a few reasons. I love your use of frames for one thing. I see a lot of artists on deviantart who have highly developed drawing skills, however they're skills are lost on their uninteresting storytelling. For example, they may only feature 'talking-heads'(with lots of dialogue) for every frame, instead of allowing what is IN the frame tell the story, which is to me something very important of true manga. Your use of frames are very interesting and make the manga very interesting, you really capture the mood of how the character is feeling without having to force the reader to read through an essay (much like my reply to you right now) in order to understand what is actually happening. Instead, you allow the pictures to create a mood and atmosphere on their own, your use of words compliment your artwork, neither having to rely fully on the other. This is what I think is an indication of strong storytelling skills. I apologise for writing such a ridiculously long reply, but I hope you understand it is only because of good intentions.
